Browns-Rams DraftKings Week 13 prop bets: Bet on Flacco not throwing a ton, Cooper back on track

Also, Dustin Hopkins continues to be money.

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Browns are on the road to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season this Sunday, December 3, at 4:25 PM ET. The Browns are 4-point underdogs against the Rams, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my favorite player prop bets from the Browns’ perspective in Week 13.

I was 3/3 on my player prop bets last week.

Browns vs. Rams: Best NFL player prop bets

Dustin Hopkins Over 1.5 Field Goals (-105)

The streak continued last week, and Dustin Hopkins has had 2+ field goals in 10/11 games this season. Keep on betting this one every week, when you factor in things like the Browns’ defense often giving Cleveland’s offense good field position, but the offense not being good finishers, which makes them settle on field goals.

Amari Cooper Over 49.5 Yards (-115)

With the body control and physical nature that Amari Cooper possesses, I think Joe Flacco takes advantage of that. We’ve seen Cooper have success at getting wide open at times, and Deshaun Watson started taking advantage of that before his injury. I think Cooper will be able to get to 50+ yards receiving with Flacco.

Joe Flacco Under 30.5 Pass Attempts (+100)

During P.J. Walker’s games, he had 31, 32, and 34 pass attempts. One might think, “Joe Flacco is a better quarterback, why would he have less pass attempts?” Sometimes, it’s about efficiency — Walker and the Browns had to throw it a lot in part because the team was often behind in the chains. I think Cleveland can successfully have Flacco be a game manager this week, and he’ll still get close to 31 pass attempts, but I think it’s worth a bet for the under, with him being around 29 attempts.
