A scary situation on Thursday Night Football as Cleveland Browns WR Elijah Moore was tackled late in the second quarter. Moore landed on his facemask first and his arms were moving in an unusual way afterward.

Teammates called for trainers to come over right away and both New York Jets, Moore’s former teammates, and Browns took a knee nearby.

Thankfully, Moore was able to walk off with the help of trainers and was taken into the injury tent.

Moore had five receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown prior to the injury. The former second-round pick is in his first season with Cleveland after being acquired in a trade with New York this offseason.

The team has not provided an update on Moore but he walked with trainers to the locker room prior to the end of the first half.

The Browns announced Moore was being evaluated for a head injury:

Shortly after the start of the second half, the team announced that Moore was out the rest of the game:

Moore will get a few extra days before Cleveland’s next game in Week 18 to get healthy but, depending on other results, the Browns may choose to rest players against the Cincinnati Bengals.
