Each week during season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.
After the team’s loss to the Rams last week, 57% of fans are confident in the direction of the team, compared to an 53% confidence rate in the prior week. It’s a rarity that Cleveland goes up in confidence after a loss, but it could have to do with the combined fact that fans are optimistic now about Joe Flacco leading the team, and also optimistic about the Browns’ chances of beating a backup or banged up quarterback for the Jaguars this week. 78% of Jaguars fans are confident in the direction of their team after they lost to the Bengals this past Monday.
We asked two other questions this week, the first of which was about whether the Browns will still make the playoffs. 68% of fans think Cleveland will still end up securing a spot to the postseason.
The other question asked who should start at quarterback if Dorian Thompson-Robinson is cleared from his concussion. In that scenario, 90% of fans still want Joe Flacco to start against Jacksonville.
Also on a national level, fans are picking the Rams to defeat the Browns this Sunday.
