Browns, Texans final injury reports: 4 ruled out, 11 questionable between 2 teams

No Jerry Hughes but some huge names are questionable like Will Anderson

The final practices for the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans held some big news in the injury department and not all of it was good. As reported earlier, the Browns have ruled out three players including S Grant Delpit and K Dustin Hopkins.

The bigger news for Cleveland is the new injury to CB Denzel Ward.

For the Texans, four players went from not participating in practice on Wednesday to joining the field on Thursday for the final practice.

In all, the two teams ruled out four players and have questionable designations for 11 others.

Browns Injury Report

  • K Dustin Hopkins - Hamstring - Out
  • RB Pierre Strong - Back -Questionable
  • S Juan Thornhill - Calf - Questionable
  • S Grant Delpit - Groin - Limited - Out
  • WR Cedric Tillman - Concussion - Out
  • CB Mike Ford - Calf - Questionable
  • CB Denzel Ward - Shoulder - Questionable

A lot of important names on the list starting with Ward, Thornhill and Hopkins. With Delpit not able to return, the secondary players will be vital ones to watch between now and Saturday.

Texans Injury Report

  • DE Will Anderson Jr. - Ankle - Questionable
  • WR Noah Brown - Back - Questionable
  • DT Maliek Collins - Hip - Questionable
  • DE Jonathan Greenard - Ankle - Questionable
  • DE Jerry Hughes - Ankle - Out
  • DT Sheldon Rankins - Shoulder - Questionable
  • WR Robert Woods - Hip - Questionable
  • FB Andrew Beck - Calf - Questionable

Anderson, Beck, Brown and Greenard returned to practice Thursday on a limited basis. The other questionable players were also limited on Thursday.
