Even though the regular NFL Combine is over, remember that a few of the Regional Combines are still taking place, including one on Saturday in Minnesota. That is where WR Wendall Williams from the University of the Cumberlands made headlines with his 40-time:

In 2008, RB Chris Johnson ran a 4.24, which stood as the fastest time in NFL Combine history. It remains to be seen whether a regional run will be allowed to take over the title in the record books. Williams caught 15 passes for 457 yards (30.5 avg) and 8 touchdowns as a senior. He also had 7 rushes for 205 yards (29.1 YPC) and 3 touchdowns. He returned 24 kickoffs with a 32.4 average and 3 touchdowns. He also returned 6 punts for a 23.5 average and 1 touchdown. Some people might think of Williams as too small for the NFL at 5-10, 175 lbs, but that's exactly what WR Travis Benjamin measures in at. If Williams wasn't on teams' radars before, he will be now.

The redshirt sophomore enjoyed a nice 2015 season before exiting the National Championship game due to injury. Even still, the 5'10, 190 pound prospect is regarded as a first rounder, according to CBSSports.com.

Known as a confident, even cocky, cornerback, Alexander called himself the best at his position in the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft.

(On where he stacks up in this year’s cornerback class): "I’m a competitor, and they’re all competitors, but at the end of the day I’m going to say it – and a lot of you guys will say it – I’m the best corner in this draft class. You know what I mean? If you look at stats, my numbers, who I am as a person, who I’m competing against – I went against the best receivers in the country. I went against more of the top receivers than anybody in this draft class, and I’m going step for step. I’m not just moving outside, I’m going inside. I’m playing zone, I’m able to blitz, I’m able to show my versatility, everything."

(On his confidence): "I mean, this is me. This is me. Imagine me on game day."

(On importance of getting into WRs heads on the field): "You know, like I said before, my job is not to get in your head, but if I get in your head, then that’s on you. My job is to eliminate you, and make you go elsewhere, make you do different stuff. I’m a very patient guy. I don’t really, I get the memo that I talk a lot of trash. I don’t really talk trash, I speak facts. I just tell you what it is, and what you’re not going to do. If you get one, good. I gave you that. You didn’t beat me. So stuff like that. I just do my job. If they’re frustrated, that’s on them."

(On patience as a corner): "I mean, you’ve just got to practice that. You’ve got to go in there and practice, understand how a guy’s going to beat you. I always go to every game, and after every game I get off the bus – whether it’s home or away – and I’m watching film that same night. A lot of times, Coach [Dabo] Swinney will tell you, I don’t take showers. I get to it. I know what I’ve got to do. If I saw something in the game, if a guy caught a ball and he caught a comeback, all right, there’s only two things that happen next week. The offensive coordinator is thinking, ‘Wow, the guy, they tried him a couple times, but we only got the comeback on him.’ The offensive coordinator is automatically going to think [that]. I go back and watch at the formation, and the formations of how they caught that ball. Alabama tried to do the same thing this year in the national championship game. They looked at where I caught that ball. My thought process has been, ‘OK, let me break that down.’ I understand I gave that ball up, right? He caught that ball, he never beat me. That’s my mindset. He never beat me. I gave that up. Now, if he runs it again, I know I’m going to grab that. From a comeback point, if he runs a comeback, now there’s only two things. He’s going to run a comeback against that same formation next week coming out of the offensive coordinator, he’s planning to put that in the playbook, because it worked. Football is easy. Everybody copies each other. If a run play works, and it worked on us last week, that team will come back and use it again. So we have to prepare as a defense. So as a corner, I’ve got to prepare too to win against that. So if they run a comeback, now off that they’re going to run a comeback and go because they got me last week. Stuff like that, you can help yourself and practice that. Practice that so if it does happen, a lot of times I practice that stuff so when they do that route or something happens, I’ve prepared my body to understanding how to defend that route."

Alexander comes across as a over-confident player, but the Immokalee, Florida native definitely knows his stuff. Perhaps the Browns should consider Alexander in the upcoming draft.

The Browns are showing interest in an edge rusher out of Boise State.

Considering the Cleveland Browns' pass rushing woes in 2015, it's no surprise the club is seriously considering an edge rusher in the 2016 NFL Draft.

At the NFL Combine on Sunday, the team met with Kamalei Correa out of Boise State.

Though Correa competed at the Combine as a defensive lineman and played the position in college, NFL Network analyst and former Browns edge rusher Willie McGinest considers him to be a linebacker.

As Correa told the media, he's ready to make the transition to backer.

"I’m willing to accept the challenge. It’s going to be something new to me, but I love a new challenge. I love playing football. It’s always been a dream of mine to play linebacker, and I feel like my body structure is built for that position.

[...]

"I feel like I do need to fine-tune my moves and my techniques. But I feel like my get off is probably the best part of my game. This past month and a half, I’ve been training and working on my drops, of course, because I know that’s a weaker side of my game."

(NFL comparison?): "I don’t really see myself, but a guy I kind of watched a lot is Michael Strahan. I felt like we both have speed and power, and that’s who I try to make my game after."

(Toughest OL you faced?): "The toughest offensive lineman I faced would have to be Laremy Tunsil from Ole Miss. He’s a pretty athletic offensive lineman. I didn’t get any sacks, but I felt like I put a lot of pressure on the quarterback and forced him to make some uncomfortable throws and got some hits on him."

I can see myself playing anywhere on the defensive line. I’ve been working standing up and working on my linebacker drops, so I definitely feel I’m ready to play in a 3-4 or a 4-3."

(Would you prefer a 4-3 team over a 3-4?): "Yeah, I guess you can say I’d be more comfortable because I’ve never played in a 3-4. But I can’t speak for it because I’ve never played in a 3-4. I think I’ll be comfortable staying wherever they see me."

We present a full breakdown of the Cleveland Browns' cap space situation after the NFL announced the league-wide salary cap of $155.27 million.

On Friday, it was reported that the NFL salary cap for the 2016 season will be set at $155.27 million, which is $11.99 million more than it was in 2015. The projections are pretty much in line with what we've been using to project the Cleveland Browns' available cap space over the past few weeks, but let's get the latest tally anyway.

A few days ago, the NFLPA confirmed that the Browns will have $20,734,144 in carryover cap space. Over The Cap has the team's net adjustment as a credit of $625,000; that is the dollar amount added or reduced for things like contract escalators that weren't likely to be reached. When you combine the carryover amount with the NFL salary cap, the Browns' adjusted salary cap is around $176,629,144.

Let's break all of these numbers down in a more formalized manner:

NFL 2016 Salary Cap (Confirmed): $155.270 million
Browns' Rollover from 2015: $20.734 million
Browns' Adjustments from 2015: $625,000
Browns' 2016 Adjusted Salary Cap: $155.270 million + $20.734 million + $0.625 million = $176.629 million

Browns' Top 51 Cap Total: $132.647 million
Browns' Dead Money for 2016: $1.614 million
Browns' Total Cap Spent for 2016: $132.647 million + $1.614 million = $134.261 million

When you subtract the two subtotals above ($176.629 million - 134.261 million), we conclude that the Browns have "$42.368 million in cap space" as of February 27th. The calculation does not factor in WR Josh Gordon yet, since he is suspended still. If he is re-instated, his cap figure would be $1.068 million, but it would only increase the Browns' cap by $618,406.

We don’t have the same body, but I like to compare our games. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him drop a pass. He has great hands, and that’s what I try to do – just catch every ball thrown to me."

(Have you gone back and watched any Mo Sanu or Kenny Britt tape? Have you talked to either of those guys?): "I talk to those guys all the time. I watched a lot of film on them, obviously. Two great Rutgers wide receivers also playing well in the league right now. Mohamed Sanu, he’s a big brother to me. I talked to him right before I came here. He’s always in the bubble [at Rutgers] in the offseason working with us, making sure that he can share some of his NFL knowledge with us. He told me today to just enjoy the process and try to be the best receiver in every single drill."

Memphis QB Paxton Lynch told Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer on Friday that he was scheduled to meet with the Browns that night, and that they'd be the first team he'd be meeting with:

Lynch is projected to be a first- or second-round pick in this year's draft, although some feel there is an outside chance he could be the Browns' pick at No. 2 overall. At the NFL Combine, Lynch was asked about his medical concerns, and also talked about how his size is an asset:

(We heard your physical exams dragged on yesterday -- Why?): "I had an issue with my left knee and my right knee and an issue with my AC joint. When I hurt my AC joint back in my redshirt sophomore year of college in Cincinnati, I didn't realize that I had, I think they said it was just a small fracture in my clavicle. So that popped up on the X-ray, but it was heal. But there was just some like piece of the bone I guess just floating around in there. So it spooked a team or two, I think, and that's why they requested the MRIs and all that. But I mean I didn't miss a game or a practice or a single throw because of it, and none of those injuries bother me today. I'm 100 percent, so I was more than willing to do what they need me to do."

(At 6-7, how does size help you?): "Obviously seeing defenses a little more clearly, but I know the height difference will be a lot different in the NFL than it was in college. In the NFL, all those guys are just freaks. They're huge. Cam Newton's basically playing every position in the NFL. Those guys are so big. But I think having the height that I have, I'm able to see the field a little bit easier than some guys that aren't as tall. But the flip side of that is guys can see you just as easy."
